Filo bar

The cord installation on the ceiling of Filo Bar at Dob utca was made using more than one kilometre of polypropylene filaments. Based on the plans of Minusplus architectural studio, the ‘woven’ structures were strung between U-shaped, curved steel profiles.

The boreholes of the profiles – 380 pieces – were made by laser cutting and were given unique serial numbers for traceability. Its light is provided by an RGB LED stripe hidden inside the profiles. The tube lamp-brackets can be adjusted in any direction, so if the tables are given a new place, the lights may follow them.
