Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace

Two years ago Gresham Palace, a distinguished example of Art Nouveau architecture thus a historical building included among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites has been thoroghly renovated. Many areas and functions were relocated and redesigned, among others the hotel's luxurious cocktail bar, Múzsa, but also the lobby area needed a new look. Our task was to develop custom decorative lightings in accordance with a huge variety of materials and state-of-the-art quality requirements of the five-star hotel. The construction of the lobby's standing lighting fixtures were quite a specific challenge: an elegant, gorgeously detailed, perfectly painted steel shade had to be held by a well-balanced, significantly curved anodized aluminium support anchored in a heavy cube carved of alabaster.
