Hotel Mercure Debrecen

The design focus of  the new Hotel in the second largest city of Hungary was tomake a large social public space in the restaurant area that acts as a kind of hiddengarden without the usual overflow of greens, but with abstraction. The idea of theinterior designer was a huge central tree structure around which life happens – and fireflies fly.

After agreeing on the design/ flow of the lighting tubes the more interesting taskhas been communicating with the other specialists of the space – mainly with thecarpentry team to make the fixing points of the installation as invisible as possible, and to not cross other important hubs of the complex installation. The specific colorof the lighting was mixed by LumoConcept and the installation took a full day.
