Riverloft

A lamp able to bring about a variety of luminous effects. The two positions of the luminous body composed for the interior of a Budapest loft are playfully inviting. Depending on its setting, it can create two different atmospheres. Its angular metal outside cover is curved down, enclosing a slidable veneered inlay. The two positions of the slider modify the character of overflowing light: the lower (closed) position brings the wall to life with a soft glow of a friction light, while in the upper (open) position – due to the elliptic polished stainless reflector – it radiates more direct light towards the floor or stairs to enable easier orientation.
